e-Workshop on Cosmopolitan Communication

In partnership with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) in Switzerland, our Institute will be delivering the e-Workshop on Cosmopolitan Communication, first of its kind in Asia!

The Cosmopolitan Communication 4-day program enables young professionals from different industries to enhance their communication and negotiation skills, that are in growing demand as companies become more resilient in challenging times and require to work effectively with multiple cosmopolitan stakeholders such as government, NGOs, media and interest groups within the community.

In this online, live program, you will learn from subject matter experts within the UN Network about strategies, theories as well as practical methods to handle effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders such as private sector, government, NGOs and interest groups within the community.  This program will be interactive as well so that you will be communicating and conducting group activities with your peers.

Over the 4-day period, you will be exposed to and facilitate interactive exercises with your peers on the following subjects:

About the Facilitators

Cindy Hancock

Cindy Hancock is a registered Facilitator and Assessor at various SETAs and currently completing her ND: OD-ETDP. Cindy Hancock is the founder and occupationally directed education, training and development practitioner (OD-ETDP) at Phlox Training.  She has 8 years facilitation experience and 8 years coaching experience. 

As lead Facilitator and Professional Ontological Coach, Cindy enables people to explore, connect to, and grow their individual potential. With more than 10 years’ management experience, her key competencies are corporate communication, team coaching, people development and leadership coaching. She has a people-centered management style and earnest mentorship and compassion underpin her professional work ethic.

Cindy holds a diploma in Public Relations and is a practitioner member of the professional association for coaching and mentoring in South Africa (COMENSA). Continuous career training has fueled her aptitude in leadership development and communications training. In particular, her tenacity and strong interpersonal skills have resulted in superior sales and business portfolio growth and the securing of key corporate partners over the years.

Jérôme L’host

Mr. Jérôme L’host is a dedicated Senior Consultant based in Geneva and Moscow, working internationally with both the Private and the Public Sectors.


He attended the University of Savoie, where he studied Public Administration & Economics (AES). He later specialized in Marketing at the Plus-Values Institute in Paris. Mr. L’host is a certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Coach, a UN-certified Coach and Trainer, as well as a Synaps-certified, and LSA (Leadership Style Analysis) Coach.


Over the last twenty years, he has performed numerous presentations and motivational speeches for HEC Geneva, EPFL Chair of Entrepreneurship, Nestlé, Association pour le Progrès du Management and the Swiss-French Chamber of Commerce.  Prior to establishing himself as an Independent Consultant in 2009, Mr. L’host was a European Board Member and the Country Manager of both Switzerland and Russia for Dynargie Switzerland SA (International Training & Consulting group), with whom he worked for thirteen years. Mr. L’host has managed more than 40 large-scale international projects in more than 30 different countries.
